Overview Of The Program

Central Council of homeopathy – CCH
In 1973 the Indian Parliament passed Homeopathic central council bill and accordingly Homeopathic Central Council was established in 1974. This council is the controlling authority of the educational and practice of Homoeopathy in India.

This is the foremost Homoeopathy College in Maharashtra where the medium of instruction is English with an intake capacity of 100 students. College is well developed with efficient teaching faculties & hi-tech infrastuctures fulfulling requierments of CCIM. Various facilities are provided to students like Library with National & International journals subscribed on regular, Practical & Demonstrations with the help of Tech friendly & easy to learn atmoshphere.

The degree Course of B.H.M.S. (Degree) shall comprise a Course of study consisting of Curriculum and Syllabus provided in these regulations spread over a period of 51/2 years, including compulsory internship of one year duration after passing the Final Degree Examination;

Every candidate after passing the final BHMS examination, shall undergo compulsory internship fro a period of twelve months as per the procedure laid down in Annexure ‘A’ attached to these regulations.

On successful completion of the Internship and on the recommendation of the Principal of the Homeopathic College concerned, the concerned University shall issue the Degree to such candidates.

Eligibility

  1. HCS Science with min 50% markes in Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB Group) for Open Categori & 40% marks for reserve category + Association CET (AMUPMDC), Government MHCET.
  2. Intermediate Science (10+2) with Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects or equivalent.
  3. Attained the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of his admission to the first year of the course.
  4. Blind (including color blind), deaf and/or dumb candidates shall not be allowed for admission in the course.
  5. MHCET

Duration Of Course

4.5 for theory + 1 year Internship.

Number of subjects: 12 (Anatomy to Repertory)

Syllabus, curriculum, and duration of course, prescribed text books, methodology of teaching etc. are same for allopathic and homeopathic students. Instead of allopathic pharmacology homeopathic students has to study materia medica, organon of medicine, pharmacy and repertory.
